How does Home Performance with ENERGY STAR work?
- A participating BPI-certified Home Performance contractor can identify and fix a variety of home energy efficiency problems, including poor insulation, air leaks through cracks and gaps, and ineffective moisture control by first performing a home assessment. Upon completion of the inspection, the contractor will provide:
- Itemized cost estimates for each suggested improvement so you can easily choose which improvements you would like to make.
- A computerized report outlining your energy savings per improvement.
- Financing options to get the job done.
